Delete area map and background point.
Choose the
View and Collect
menu, right click in the video or mosaic window and select
Delete Area
Map
. Right click in the video or mosaic window again and choose
Delete
Background Point
.

Verify ATR alignment if applicable. If the system does not have an
ATR, continue with step 48.
46.1.
Select Reflection Mode.
From the OMNIC Picta,
View and Collect
screen choose the
Experiment Setup
tab and set the
Collect Mode
to
Reflection, the
Detector
to Cooled and set the aperture to 100 x 100.
46.2.
Using the mechanical or virtual joystick, center and focus on the
gold mirror located on the pinhole slide.
46.3.
Collect a background off of the gold mirror.
46.4.
Lower the Z Stage and remove the sample holder and pinhole
slide.
Using the mechanical or virtual joystick, lower the Z Stage
enough to remove the sample holder with pinhole slide and set aside.
