Complete ValPro if applicable otherwise continue with step 52.
If
ValPro was ordered
with
Installation Certification you will need to
complete ValPro and all relative documentation. The iN10 does not
require a motorized stage in order to complete ValPro however if you have
a manual stage you will need to manually move AND FOCUS at each
location on the Validation slide.
51.1.
Define ValPro test(s).
Click the
System Status
tab and then click the
ValPro icon to begin the setup procedure.
51.2.
Set options.
Check the qualification test to be completed and click
OK to close the window. Click Exit to close the ValPro window.
51.3.
Start the ValPro test.
Click the ValPro icon and choose the
microscope EP test from the drop down menu. You will see a dialog
box indicating that the test(s) have never been performed; click OK.
51.4.
Qualify the system.
Click Qualify to begin the test and follow the
prompt as directed. You will be prompted to insert the validation slide,
click OK when done.
The rest of the procedure is automated IF you have a motorized
stage with the exception of inserting the ATR crystal if applicable.
Total test time depends on the number of tests to be completed.
52.
Save parameters.
Launch
DDiag
and from the
Protected Content
drop
down menu choose
Configure iN10
. Click the
Save Parameters
button
and name the file to include a date. Refer to the following page.
Note
This step saves a file that can later be used to restore factory
parameters in case of an electronics module replacement. Refer to the
latest revision of Ser-017a for replacement procedure.
