16. Move the stage to position the middle of the slide holder under the objective.
17. Move the stage all the way to the right and position a front-to-back location that is on the
same level as a point on the opposite side of the slide holder under the objective.
18. Bring the top surface of the slide holder at that location into focus.
Take note of the z position located below mosaic pane for a later calculation.
19. Move the stage all the way to the left to position the same front-to-back location on the
right side under the objective.
20. Bring the top surface of the slide holder at that location into focus.
