Thermo Scientific
Save Spectrum
Saves the selected spectrum (or spectra) as an OMNIC .SPA (or
.SPG) file, which can be opened using the Thermo Scientific
OMNIC Workstation for DXRxi Raman Imaging Microscope or
OMNIC Specta application for further processing.
To select a spectrum, click its
in the spectral pane. To select
additional spectra, hold down the Shift key while you click
another
Search Displayed
Spectrum
Searches the displayed spectrum against the available spectral
libraries to identify the associated compound. A search results
window appears above the button. The name of the best matched
library spectrum appears at the top of the search results window
and its spectrum is added to the spectral pane. You can select
another library spectrum in the search results window and its
spectrum will replace the previous one in the spectral pane. If no
suitable match is found in the library you can select Unknown
and no matching spectrum will be displayed. To close the search
results window, click Search Displayed Spectrum again. After you
close the window, the library spectrum disappears from the
spectral pane.
The library matches are shown in order of match value, with the
best match listed first. The following information is provided for
each found match:
• The compound name
• The name of the library that contains the spectrum
• A match value between 0 and 100
The match value tells you how well the library spectrum matches
the unknown. The closer the value is to 100, the better the match.
Use the
button in the OMNICxi Analysis window
to select the libraries to search.
Use the
button in the OMNICxi Analysis window
to specify one or more spectral regions to use in the search.
NOTE
The Search Displayed Spectrum button is available in the
Acquisition window only. To see search results from the
, click the
Results
buttons in the
profile
.
