6.5 CHANNELLING
To obtain an optimal flow of ducted hot air it is advisable to comply with the following instructions:
- Avoid narrow or reduced sections, sharp curves, downhill runs in the tubing.
- Reduce the horizontal runs as much as possible.
- Use pipes with smooth inner surfaces made of material capable of resisting continuous temperatures of 150°C.
- Insulate pipes with mineral wool (resistant to at least 150°C).
If you follow the instructions given above it is possible to channel:
- up to 16 metres using 1 vent (front vent closed)
- up to 8 metres using 2 vents (front vent closed)
- up to 6 metres using 3 vents (front vent closed)
- up to 4 metres using 4 vents (front vent closed)
The appliance is supplied with both rear duct vents blocked. If you wish to use these duct vents, remove the two rear covers A by
undoing the screws B. Position the two supplied ducting collars C and fix with the screws B.

CAUTION: when the heater is running the channelling adjuster knobs are extremely hot to the touch. Consequently it is
mandatory to use the handle or similar tool to adjust them.
CAUTION: if the two rear vents are not used it is strictly forbidden to close the side vents with the lever F. This operation
could result in personal injury or damage to objects and the heater components.
