3.4 

Repairing the Winch

3.4.1 

GET FACTORY AUTHORIZATION for all repairs. Unauthorized repairs 
will void the warranty, and may lead to damage or failure of the winch.

3.4.2 

REPLACE DAMAGED OR POORLY OPERATING PARTS with Thern 
repair parts.

3.4.3 

TO ORDER REPAIR PARTS, contact your local dealer. Include the fol low -
ing in for ma tion when ordering:

•  model number

•  serial number (or code number)

•  part number

•  date purchased, and from whom

•  description of what happened, or what is wrong

•  your name and return address

Important!

•  It is your responsibility to de-

 ter mine when to replace parts. 
When considering whether to 
continue using a part or to replace 
it, re mem ber that replacing it 
is the best way to avoid further 
equipment damage.

•  Replace all retaining rings when 

you dis as sem ble the winch or 
brake for repair or replacement.

•  Appoint a qualifi ed person to be 

responsible for all repairs to the 
equipment.
