Introduction:
The TMM60/A01 Series Proximity Reader and Keypad Assembly provide a convenient
and easy-to-use means of transmitting RFID proximity card data to an access control
anel.

The TMM60/A01 is a complete front face assembly. It is designed to substitute the
Legacy Metropolitan Police unit, and is supplied with a stainless steel metal faceplate,
a STORM keypad, Legic Advant Proximity reader and an encapsulated Antenna
odule.

This unit allows the installer to connect directly to the control panel. The Proximity
Reader and STORM keypad output is via the “Data 1” and “Data 0” terminals of the
egic Advant Reader Module.

Cabling:
It is recommended that Belden 9536 screened cable, or equivalent,
is used between the reader module and control panel.
The recommended
maximum
distance between reader and
control panel is 100 metres.
This is dependant upon type of cable used and the electrical
environment present.
ALWAYS VERIFY THAT THE CABLING DISTANCE AND
OUTING IS SUITABLE.

Grounding
It is recommended that the proximity reader, control panel and
power supply unit have a common ground.
The screen of the Belden 9536 cable should be firmly connected to
the power supply grounded chassis to prevent ground loops
Fixing Details
The front plate assembly is fixed to the BBFM-02 (Flush Mounted
Back Box) using 6 off –
M4 x 10 mm long Torx Security Screws
or equivalent (not supplied).
