a digital data “BITSTREAM”

MPEG-2 audio signals, as an
analog “PCM” stream.

• Then configure the speakers:
- on your DVD player (see pages 37-39) for MPEG-2 audio discs.
- on your Amplifier / Decoder (refer to its documentation) for Dolby Digital discs.
- to read the 5.1 channel MPEG-2 audio discs on a DVD disc, turn on the advanced input (5.1
channel analog) on the amplifier to be able to use the DVD player’s MPEG-2 decoding.

. Remove the protection cap from the connector and
connect it firmly as shown on the drawing.
