When either
Bkgd 1

Bkgd 2
is selected when a wash is active, the
Keyer Wipe
geometry button will light and the knobs control the Offset and Softness of
the wash edge (
). Backgrounds actually do not use Keyer wipe
generators. Instead they each use their own simple wipe generator for
washes. This generator produces a straight line which can be rotated,
moved back and forth, or have an added texture. The
Keyer Wipe
button illu-
minates to indicate the background wash is active.
