Undo/•
(See
.) This button undoes the last
E-MEM register operation, regardless of enabled levels. Changing enable
states is not considered an E-MEM operation, and so cannot be undone.
The following keypad buttons are only on the Master E-MEM keypad.
Clear Entry Button
The
Clear Entry
button is used to clear an incomplete entry on the Master
E-MEM keypad. After clearing an incomplete entry the current value of
that parameter will be displayed on the readout.
A numeric entry can also be aborted by pressing the prefix button before
Enter
. The difference is that pressing
Clear Entry
keeps the keypad delegated
to the numeric entry, while pressing the prefix button restores the keypad
to register recall.
Detent Button
The
Detent
button is used in place of the
Enter
button to take the current
parameter on the Master E-MEM keypad to its nearest detent value.
Detents are system defined values, and vary with the type of parameter
being controlled. Pressing
Detent
without entering a value will set the
parameter's value to its the detent closest to the current value. If a numeric
entry has been made,
Detent
sets the parameter to the detent closest to the
value entered.
Trim Button
The
Trim
button is used in place of the
Enter
button to change the parameter
by a specific value. The value of the trim is generally typed on the keypad
first, and then enacted by pressing the
Trim
button. The sign of the trim
value can be changed with the
+/-
button (see below). The last trim value is
retained in memory, however, so pressing
Trim
repeatedly will make succes-
sive changes to the parameter by the last specified trim value.
