Get Effect Button
The
Get Eff
button copies the contents of a specified register to the current
effect register(s). Only enabled levels are affected. The status of the work
buffer is not affected by this operation. The
Get Eff
operation does not copy
sequence link information or sequence delay times) to the current effect.
The
Get Eff
button goes high tally when pressed, and the E-MEM readout
displays a prompt. For example, if Bank 0 and register 7 are currently
selected, the display prompts
GET 0x INTO CUR
.

If the current effect includes enabled levels that are in different registers,
information for all these levels in the specified Get register will be copied
to the appropriate level in each of the current effect registers. For example,
suppose M/E 1 is using register 1 as its current effect, and M/E 2 is using
register 2 as its current effect. A Get Eff operation specifying register 3 will
copy register 3’s M/E 1 level information into register 1, and copy M/E 2
level information into register 2.
Timeline Navigation Buttons
Some buttons for timeline navigation exist in the Keypad Prefix button
group, and others reside in the Effects Edit subpanel (
Go To KF
– The
Go To KF
button is used to move the cursor to a specified key-
frame number on the master timeline. Pressing the button turns it on and
delegates the Master E-MEM keypad for number entry. Type a number and
press
Enter
to go to that master timeline keyframe. Pressing
Trim
instead
moves the cursor over the indicated number of keyframes (negative
numbers move the cursor backward). The
Trim
button can be pressed
repeatedly to move progressively through the effect. This button is inactive
during effect runs.
Go To Time
– The
Go To Time
button is used to move the cursor to a specified
time in the effect. Pressing the button turns it on and delegates the Master
E-MEM keypad for a time entry in Seconds.Frames.Field format. Type a
