4-M/E Main Panel
The
Post T-form
button
controls the movement of an image along the X and
Y axes of two-dimensional screen space (this appears to move over a flat
space and perspective changes do not occur). Deflecting the Joystick along
its Z axis will scale the picture in 2D (post scale).
Axis Buttons
Holding down the
X
,
Y
, and
Z
axis buttons (located at the bottom of the
transform area) individually or in any combination constrains the Joystick
parameter changes to the selected axes. For example, if the
X
button is held
down while the Joystick is moved, then only X axis deflection is performed.
Axis constraints also apply to Centering functions.
The
Detent/Center
button is used to apply the default (center) value to the del-
egated parameter.
Pressing and releasing the
X
,
Y
, and
Z
buttons transfers the current trans-
form parameter to the Master E-MEM subpanel keypad. The Master
E-MEM subpanel keypad may then be used to enter an exact value for that
parameter. The
Trim
button can be used to successively trim parameter
values, and the
Detent
button can be used to apply the default (center) value
for the delegated axis.
Inactive Buttons
The
Final Locate
button is inactive in Kalypso Release 11.0.
Macros Subpanel
The Macros subpanel has ten Macro buttons. On a 4-M/E Main panel these
controls are located between M/E 3 and PGM PST (
