Router Assignment
The Local Aux panel can be assigned to control external router source selec-
tions, if configured for that feature, using the Router Assignment buttons
at the lower left of the panel. See Router Interface Operation in the Kalypso
User Manual for operating information.
Disk Drives
The Kalypso file system includes a CD-ROM drive used to load software
files, and a 250 mB Zip disk used for saving and loading configuration and
effect files.
The basic Kalypso system also houses two hard drives. One drive supports
the Menu panel display and resides in either the Enhanced Menu panel or,
on early model systems with the original Menu panel resides in the Main
panel. The other hard drive is used for all non-volatile and on-line storage
of effects and configuration information, and is located on the Control
Module in the Video Processor frame.
If the Kalypso system is equipped with the Still Store option, an additional
hard drive for storing still images and animations resides on the Still Store
module.
