Daily Setups Menus
When a Transform Engine or Chroma Keyer Logical component has been
delegated, the upper Resource Action pane changes (
).
Figure 130. Acquire Resources Menu with Chroma Keyer Selected
Touching the top data pad brings up a popup keypad. Entering a value
specifies the total number of the currently delegated component type
desired by the suite.
The
Acquire One
button acquires one of these available components, and the
Release One
button releases one of these acquired components. These
buttons are only active when components have been acquired or are avail-
able for the action.
The buttons in the lower Global pane control acquisitions for all logical
components, not just the delegated one. This is the fastest mechanism to
acquire components. The operator marks the desired components and then
with one button press acquires them.
Pressing
Acquire Desired
attempts to acquire all desired components. A
message will appear if all the desired resources could not be acquired. If
this occurs scroll through the list on the left to identify the missing
resources (they will be colored red).
The
Release Undesired
button releases all acquired components that are not
marked as desired. Pressing
Release Undesired
, then
Acquire Desired
is the
proper procedure to acquiring only the resources specified in a Suite Pref.
