Aux Bus Menu
Aux Bus Menu
The Aux Bus menu is a source selector for Aux buses and can be used to
define the B channel of an Aux Pair as either
Video
or
Key
. It also allows the
operator to set up the
Near Side Source
and
Far Side Source
to be selected in
conjunction with a digital effects system. The menu is accessed by touching
Aux Bus

Aux bus sources are selected by choosing an aux bus data pad on the left
scrolling pane, and then selecting the switcher source in the right scrolling
panel. The Scroll soft knob can also be used to scroll through the available
switcher sources.
Aux bus outputs are configured in the Eng Setups - Outputs menu (see
Output Assignments Menu on page 206
). Aux Bus delegations are set in the
User Preferences – Aux Delegate Mapping menu (see
). Refer to Section 3 – Configuration in the
Kalypso Installation and Service Manual for complete Aux Bus configuration
instructions.
If the Aux bus is configured as an Aux Pair, the
Video
and
Key
buttons affect
the B bus output of that Aux Pair (the A bus always outputs video). When
configured as an Aux pair, the
Split Key
modifier button on the Local Aux
