Note
The Disable Marks button is intended for use as a clip playback debugging
tool. The button automatically turns off when a different item is loaded to an
output, when the output delegation is changed, and when the pane is closed
with the Show Details button.
The
Mark Begin
button sets the current time as the beginning of playback.
When the clip is loaded, the clip is cued to this point. The Cue button
returns to this frame when pressed.
The
Mark End
button sets the current time as the end of playback. When
played, the clip will play to this point and freeze.
The Begin/End data pad at the top of the pane displays the current mark
points for the clip. Touching this data pad brings up soft knob controls on
the right (
The
Begin
and
End
knob controls can be used to dial or type in specific Begin
and End time values.
The
Jog Time
knob is also available to adjust the playback time, essentially
jogging the clip. This control ignores Begin and End marks.
Clip Loop Controls
Portions of an animation may be looped. Each loop has a Loop From time-
code (where the loop begins), a Loop To timecode (where the loop jumps
to), and a Loop Count. Clip playback will jump from the Loop From point
to the Loop To point and repeat the Loop Count number of times. For
looping to occur, the Loop From point must be after Loop To point. If Loop
From is before Loop To, the material between the points will be skipped
and the Loop Count will be ignored. These adjustments can then be saved
so they are applied when that clip is loaded to a Still Store output.
