Section 3 — Menus
The
Show Key
button displays the processed black and white keyer cut
signal on the preview monitor. This is useful for evaluating the quality of
the key.
The
Push to Preview
button displays the key on the preview output over the
program signal. This can be used to check the quality of the key before
taking it on-air.
The Mode pane controls the type of key (Fixed Linear, Adjustable Linear,
Luminance, Chroma Key, and Preset Pattern). Different controls appear on
the right side of the menu, depending on what key has been selected.
shows the controls available for Preset Pattern. Selecting
Chroma Key for a keyer brings up different controls (

All Chroma Key parameter values are displayed at the same time on this
menu. The parameter groups are numbered indicating the order the adjust-
ments should normally be made. See Chroma Key Operating Notes in the
Kalypso User Manual for specific operating instructions.
