E-MEM Readout Display
The E-MEM readout display has 16 alphanumeric characters, and is used
to show the status of the current register status, display messages, and
prompt the user.
When displaying the status of the current effect, the first readout character
position is either blank or indicates with an “L” that the register is locked.
The second and third positions indicate the bank number selected for the
next action. The current effect number and name follows. A typical display
is shown in
. The full 16 character name is displayed for five
seconds when a register is recalled with a name longer than 9 characters. If
a register on another M/E or PGM PST has been recalled using
Recall From
,
the first two characters will indicate the M/E it came from.

The E-MEM readout display prompts the operator for time entry during
Transition Rate operations. The readout can also display messages to the
operator. For example, if an attempt is made to alter a locked register the
readout will display
Reg is locked
for five seconds. Typical readout dis-

Inactive Buttons
The
Recall From
button on the individual M/E E-MEM subpanel is inactive
in Kalypso Release 11.0.
