Append Macros Pane
You can append the contents of one macro into another macro using the
Macro Catalog menu. After touching either the
Record
or
Append
button on
the menu, touching another Macro Register button on the menu opens an
Append Macros pane (
Figure 150. Macro Catalog Menu with Append Macros Pane
The Append Macros pane shows the register number of the macro you just
selected to append. You can select a different macro register if you wish by
touching a different button on the Macro Catalog menu. The Append
Macros pane will update to show the currently selected macro. Only one
macro register can be selected for append at a time. When the correct macro
register has been chosen, touching the
Append Macro
button appends the con-
tents of that macro to the one currently being recorded. You can then con-
tinue to record the macro, and if you wish you can append the contents of
another macro register following the same procedure. You cannot, however
append a macro to itself (this action is ignored).
Just like appending macros using the buttons on the Main panel, only the
current contents of a macro is appended to another macro. Once the con-
tents of one macro has been appended to another macro, deleting or
changing that source macro will not change the behavior of the macro that
had received its contents through an append.
