Section 3 — Menus
Timeline Events Menu
After the external devices are configured with the Kalypso system, they can
be controlled using events learned to effect keyframes. Events act as triggers
for specific behaviors, similar to GPI or Peripheral Bus II commands. As
each keyframe with an event is encountered during an effect run, that event
information is sent to the external device, commanding it to action. Actions

The Timeline Events menu is used to specify what external control events
will be placed on a keyframe on an E-MEM timeline. This menu also dis-
plays the external control events currently in the work buffer, and reports

Note
This menu directly affects the Kalypso system work buffer, not the effect key-
frames themselves. Changes made to this menu must be added to keyframes
with the Main panel Insert, Modify, or Learn controls to make the changed
settings active during an effect run.
