Event List Automation
When combined with
Auto Start
and
Off Air Adv
, an event list provides a
nearly automatic way to play out clips during a scripted show like a news
cast. Once the event list is created and loaded into a DDR channel, taking
the channel to air will play the current clip and taking the channel off air
will cue up the next one.
External Device Links Menu
The External Device Links menu is used to link devices so they can be con-
trolled together from the Machine Control subpanel. One device is the
primary device, and other devices can be linked to that device. The linked
devices follow the behavior of the primary device. Commands sent directly
to a linked device, however, do not affect the primary device.
Any number of devices can be linked to a primary device, but a device can
link to only one primary device, and a primary device cannot be linked to
another primary device. Current Kalypso system performance does not
guarantee sync roll of more than two devices, however.
The External Device Links menu is accessed by touching
