Setting the alarm
Comment: Check that the radio is set to the correct time and date before setting the alarm.
This appliance can act as an alarm clock. The CD/BUZZ function or FM radio can be set to
start at a predefined time.
1. Press
POWER
to put the appliance into standby.
2. Ensure the clock has been set beforehand.
3. Press the
ALARM
button when the appliance turns off;
4. “Alarm Setup” is displayed. Press the
ENTER
button to make your choice.
5. “Alarm Wizard On time” is displayed and the alarm time figures flash.
6. Press
/
several times to set the hour. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
7. Press
/
to set the minutes. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
8. Press
/ to select the audio volume for the alarm, between 0 and 32. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
9. Press
/ to scroll through the OFF/CD/FM/USB/BUZZER status. Press
ENTER
to
confirm.
10. Press the
/ button to scroll through the alarm period. You can choose between 15,
30, 45 and 60 minutes. Press the ENTER button to make your choice. Press /
to
select YES and press
ENTER
to save the alarm.
11. The screen shows the current time and the alarm.
Snooze
1. Once the alarm sounds, it can be temporarily suspended for a period of approximately 9
minutes, by pressing the
SNOOZE
button once.
2. The alarm automatically sounds again after about 9 minutes.
3. To deactivate the snooze function, press the
POWER
button once.
Standby timer
1. Press the
SLEEP
(standby) button repeatedly; you can adjust this timer to
90/80/70/60/50/40/30/20/10 minutes This function is useful for falling asleep to music at
night.
2. If you want to cancel this mode, press the
SLEEP
button several times until you reach 00;
sleep mode is then cancelled.
