Pressing the Distress button will make the Distress LED flash and
will activate an intermediate acoustic signal. If the Distress button
is held for at least 5 seconds the acoustic signal will stop and the
Distress LED will light constantly to indicate that a Distress Alert is
send. Observe that the transceiver reacts by flashing the Alarm
LED when the Distress Button has been activated. Please see
Figure 27.

In Figure 28 is an example of the TT-3000C Maritime Capsat Sys-
tem for GMDSS use.
An Integrated Capsat System is delivered with all necessary in-
terconnecting cables, except the cable between the TT-3020C
Transceiver and the TT-3042C Remote Alarm/Distress Box.
