REPAIR
1. General
A. Replace all damaged or worn parts, including wires and insulation.
2. Wiring Replacement
A. Refer to wiring diagrams in this section depending upon model, for location and
color of wires.
NOTE
: Replacement wire should meet MIL-W-22759/11.
B. Remove and replace wires.
C. Cover all relay connector pins with snug-fitting, neutral-color Teflon sleeving.
3. Plumbing
A. Refer to the plumbing diagrams in this section. Care should be exercised in
choosing a potable water source. If particles of grit enter the plumbing system, the
internal coffee brewer parts which contain small orifices may become clogged and
require disassembly and/or cleaning. Use of hard water will also leave scale
deposits, which slowly clog the system. Any evidence of water stoppage or slower-
than-normal water flow requires inspection of these critical parts for malfunction.
4. Power Switch Replacement (Applicable to Part Numbers 500-0619-01, -02 ONLY
that use a power switch with an indicator lamp)
A. The power switch indicator lamp cannot be replaced. If the indicator lamp fails, the
complete power switch must be replaced.
B. When replacement of the power switch is necessary; a new switch using a manual
indication of the on/off status may be substituted at the discretion of the operator.
C. To convert to the new switch, the indicator light signal wire must be removed from
the coffee brewer. See the following table for details.
