7. Additional Information
7.1. Software updates:
•
Every so often you may have the opportunity to
update the software. This is due to new functions
and improved performance.
•
A red “update” box will appear next to the
“settings” icon on the TIBO app when there are
updates available.
7.2. Factory reset:
•
Pressing the WPS button will make the Bond 2
search for a Wi-Fi connection. However, if you
HOLD the WPS for 5 seconds, the Bond 2 will
restore itself to factory settings.
7.3. Ethernet Connection:
•
If you connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the Bond 2 and the other
end to your router, the Bond 2 will bypass the Wi-Fi setup phase on the TIBO app. Open
the TIBO app and the Bond 2 will be there on your “Device List” page.
7.4. Wi-Fi Protection Password:
•
Click the “settings” icon of the Bond 2 within the
“Device List” page of the TIBO app. Then click
“speaker info” and scroll down to the “Hotspot
Status” section and activate the Personal
Hotspot. Here you can set / change the Wi-Fi
protection password for the Bond 2.
