To activate Do Not Disturb:
1. Do

lift ha ndset.
2. Press D ND.
To cancel Do Not Disturb:
1. Do

lift ha ndset.

Press D ND o nce or twice;
whichever causes it to
e xti nguish.

A Door Chime Box, which is most ofte n place d beside an e ntra nce door,
allows a visitor, for example, to se nd a chime sig nal to the e xte nsio n users
i nsi de to a n nou nce his or her arrival. Whe n a n exte nsio n user a nswers the
ch ime, a two- way co nversatio n is possi ble with the perso n at the door,
a n d the user ca n u nlock the door for the visitor. However, a Door Chime
Box ca n be place d i n a room or office, i nstea d of a telepho ne, whe n o nly
i nte rcom co nversatio ns are necessary.
