Idle Extension Hunting
Th e ext ensions in your syst em ar e group ed together (via programming)
in Hunt Groups, and each group is assign ed a num ber ( 0- 9). For
example, your sal es d epartment might b e Hunt Group
7.
This f eature
"hunts" through th e extensions in a group and calls the first idl e on e it
f inds. (See the Hunt Groups Chart for th e extension groupings.)
To activate Idle E xtension Hunting:
1. Lift hands et
2 . Pr ess ICM.
3.
Dial#.
4.
Dial Hunt Group num b er ( 0- 9)
for d esir ed extension group.
You ar e conn ected to the first idl e
extens ion. Busy tone m eans all
extensions in the group ar e busy.
If there is no answer, you can
press#, and this f eature will hunt
for anoth er idle extension in the
group.
