TDR7 Overview
The TDR7 is both a single and a multi–program MPEG IRD that
interfaces directly with a satellite low noise block (LNB)
downconverter at 12
VDC
or 18
VDC
and serves as the link between a
satellite and your baseband multimedia (video and audio)
equipment. The TDR7 IRD receives a DVB–compliant input signal
and demodulates and decodes the signal into separate video, audio,
and user data channel components. With the TTO–6000 option
module, teletext data may be included in the video output while in the
PAL mode. With the TEA–6000 option module, up to four
AES/EBU audio channels are automatically embedded in the digital
video output.
Illustrated below is a typical TDR7 system configuration for a unit that
has the TT0–6000 option module installed.
