Using the Control Front Panel
System menu:
Allows you to configure the
TDR7 to accept either QPSK for a satellite input signal or
RS422 for a DVB–compliant transport stream. Additionally, the
System menu allows
you to display the
TDR7 unique identification number and to lock or unlock the control
front panel.
Demod menu:
Allows you to configure the RF input parameters and to display the receive signal
Eb/No, input level, and carrier offset, and to display the demodulator, decoder, and
transport stream lock status.
Faults menu:
Allows you to view current faults, to display all faults logged since the history function
was last cleared, and to clear the fault history log.
Video menu:
Allows you to select the video mode.
Audio menu:
Allows you to set the volume for the audio output channels.
Data menu:
Allows you to set the data rate for the user data output port.
Control menu:
Allows you to restore the
TDR7 to the DVB defaults, configure the remote control port,
set the run–time clock, and reset the unit.
Service menu:
Allows you to display and select the services available in the transport stream.
PGCA menu:
Allows you to determine if the selected service is protected, whether or not the
originator of the service has authorized your
TDR7 to receive the selected service,
and how long your
TDR7 will remain authorized to receive the selected service in the
event that the service is interrupted.
Version menu:
Allows you to display the firmware version of your
TDR7.
