Control Front Panel Overview
Video Menu
The Video menu contains one function: Mode.
The Mode function allows you to set the video format to NTSC, PAL,
or AUTO; however, if the mode you select does not match the mode of
the video in the selected service, the TDR7 automatically switches the
mode to match the selected service.

NOTE: Auto–Sensing Video Decoder
The
TDR7
video decoder is completely auto–sensing, which
means that it automatically changes the video parameters to
match those of the input signal.
NOTE: Changing Video Modes While Processing Teletext Data
If your
TDR7
has a
TTO–6000
option module installed, you can
only process teletext data while in the PAL video mode. If you
switch to the NTSC video mode while processing teletext data,
you will not be able to process teletext. Additionally, while
processing teletext data your video output equipment is cabled
to the J61 teletext port on the back of the
TDR7
. If you switch to
the NTSC mode, you should ensure that your video output
equipment is cabled to the J13 composite video port.
