The Splashproof Remote Control
Before the splashproof remote control can be used the insulating plastic film must be removed
from beneath the battery.
Place the remote control face down on a horizontal flat surface and use the opener to release the
battery compartment cover by rotating it in an anti-clockwise direction. Set the battery cover and
opener to one side. Remove the battery and the insulating plastic film.
Try to avoid touching the black O-ring as it is coated in light grease.
A. Gently pull forward the small battery terminal.
B. Gently raise up both prongs.
C. Push the battery flat in to the battery compartment, (with the positive (+) side upwards) so
that it is in contact with both battery terminals for 5 seconds.
Remove the battery and insert the battery at an angle, so it rests on the battery terminal A.
Refit the battery cover and lock it back in place using the opener.
Wait 15 seconds before operating the remote control.

Replacing the Battery
Place the remote control face down on a horizontal flat surface and use the opener to release the battery
compartment cover by rotating it in an anti-clockwise direction. Set the battery cover and opener to one
side.
Carefully remove the old battery and dispose of it safely.
Observe the polarity.
Do not short circuit the battery.
The battery of remote control shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
Try to avoid touching the black O-ring as it is coated in light grease.
Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side upwards. Replace the battery cover and lock it
back in place using the opener.
