Assembly and general recommendations for use
Note!
Follow the information contained in this manual while assembly and adjustment.
Users with reduced mobility may need help from a third person who has appropriate skills.
Note!
Do not use the walker if any defects or deficiencies (e.g. cracks) are noticed due to
the risk of accident.
Unfolding and folding the walker
•
To unfold the walker, pull the legs apart and press the crossbar until the hinges are
completely unfolded. Then, fix push handles into the mounting openings at the
appropriate height and lock the clamp. Lean the seat against unfolded frame.
•
To fold the walker, lift the seat and pull the strap upwards until the frame is
completely folded. Lower the seat.
NOTE!
Be careful while folding or dismantling the walker due to the risk of smashing
fingers in hinges.
Height adjustment of handles
The height of the handles should be adjusted so that the user can stand upright, as far as he
or she is able to, with his or her shoulders in rest position and with slightly bent elbows. It is
inadvisable to hang on the walker with all the body weight.
•
To adjust the height of the handles, unlock the clamp which is located on the outside
of the frame, select appropriate height and lock the clamp.
Note!
The handles must be set on the same level
.
Note!
The assistance of the third person may be required while first use regardless of the
user’s health condition.
•
To move with the use of the walker, you need to move the walker forwards by lifting
the back part. Then, place the back part on the ground and slide the legs to the
walker. Legs with tips serve as a brake.
