holder. The gap in the cabinet must correspond with the direction of
the SIM card. The SIM card must exactly fit in the gap.
Then the battery has to be installed with its
three contact fingers matching the three
contact pins of the phone at the upper left
below the SOS button. The battery will first
have to be positioned against the contact
fingers. Then it has to be inserted by minor
pressure from the bottom side into the gap
of the phone.
Finally refit the cabinet cover. It has to be put on the phone so that
the cover lies on the phone without any gaps. Then - as the last step -
press it down until it clicks into place.
Switching on the phone
Press the hang-up key (button with red handset) for 3 - 5 seconds un-
til the display is lit.
Then the PIN (personal identification number) of your SIM card is be-
ing requested. This 4 digit number you will find in the documents of
your SIM card. Enter those 4 digits of the PIN via the keypad and then
press the call key (key with green handset).
Note:
The PIN of your SIM card can be changed via the settings
of your phone and you can also switch of the PIN query
which comes when switching on the phone.
Now the telephone can be used.
Setting time and date
After switching on the phone for the first time (and after the battery
has been removed) date and time will have to be set.
