unclogging the Tip (model 0524358 only)
1. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
2. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
3. Unscrew tip guard and remove air cap.
4. Remove clogged tip from the air cap, reverse it and
replace it into tip seal.
5. Fit the air cap onto the tip, making sure that the location
flats are in line.
6. Replace the air cap and tip guard onto the spray gun.
Tighten tip guard by hand.
7. Switch the material and air pressure back on.
8. Remove trigger lock and briefly trigger the spray gun onto
a scrap piece of wood or cardboard. This should blow out
any tip obstruction.
9. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
10. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
11. Unscrew tip guard and remove air cap.
12. Remove tip from air cap and reverse tip again so it is in
the spray position. Fit the air cap onto the tip, making sure
that the location flats are in line.
13. Replace the air cap and tip guard onto the spray gun.
Tighten tip guard by hand.

cleaning / Replacing Reversible Tip
(model 0524357 only)
IMPORTaNT: Do not use any sharp, metal objects when
cleaning the reversible tip.
1. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
2. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
3. Pull out the reversible tip from the tip guard and clean with
appropriate cleaning solvent and a soft-bristled brush until
all paint residue has been removed.
4. Point the reversible tip in the spraying position and re-
insert into tip guard.

3. Turn reversible tip to “clean” position.

4. Remove trigger lock and briefly trigger the spray gun onto

6. Turn the reversible tip to “spray” position.
7. Remove trigger lock and resume spraying.

cleaning or performing maintenance on the gun.
use only the cleaning solvent recommended by the
material manufacturer.
Never spray into an enclosed vessel (this will
create an explosive gas / air mixture).
NOTE: Do not immerse the spray gun in solvent.
Daily cleanup
1. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
2. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
3. Unscrew the tip guard and remove air cap. Remove
nozzle from the nozzle cap and clean separately (see
Cleaning / Replacing the Tip).
4. Thoroughly flush the spray gun with the appropriate
cleaning solvent.
5. Relieve spray gun and unit pressure.
6. Lock the spray gun by activating the trigger lock.
7. Clean the gun body with a cloth dampened with the
appropriate cleaning solvent. Dry with a dry cloth.
