TROUBLESHOOTING

Although your new sander is really very simple

to operate, if you do experience problems, check

the following:

If your tool can not work, please check the

plug and fuse first.

Sander will not start

Check that there is “mains” at the socket. Check

the connections in the plug; correct and tighten

poor connections.

Check the fuse; replace with correct rating fuse

if suspect.

Sander does not abrade surface

The  abrasive  paper  will  only  abrade  if  in  good

condition; replace the paper and try again.

The  paper  must  be  kept  in  a  dry  place;  If  it  is

allowed to become damp, the abrasive particles

will lose their adhesion to the backing paper and

will not abrade.

Sander does not move smoothly

The abrasive paper may be damaged or wrinkled;

catching  the  paper  on  sharp  corners  or  edges,

nails or screw heads may tear the paper. Replace

and try again.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Waste  electrical  products  should  not  be

disposed of with household waste. Please

recycle  where  facilities  exist.  Check  with

your  Local  Authority  or  retailer  for  recycling

advice.
