Product functions
Angle adjustment
The angle of the blade head for hedge trimmer cutting
unit can be adjusted into five positions (Fig. 25):
1. Press the unlock button (14) to unlock the angle
adjustment and hold it in position.
2. Adjust the blade head to the desired position by
swing the pole support (13).
3. Release the unlock button (14) and keep moving
the pole support (13) until it locks in place.
4. Ensure the unlock button (14) snaps in place before
operation.
WARNING!
The blade head for pole hedge trimmer can be adjusted
in five different positions.
Always ensure the blade head is securely locked! Do not attempt to
use the product with the head in an intermediate position!
Switching on/off
1. Ensure the hedge trimmer blade (17) or the saw chain (20) does not touch
any objects. Remove the blade cover (16) or the guide bar cover (18) from the
hedge trimmer blade (17) or the saw chain (20) before switching the product
on.
2. Hold the product with one hand on the soft grip (7a) of the rear pole (7) and
the other hand on the rear handle (1). Do not start the product while handling
it with one hand.

3. Pull back the lock-off button (2) and hold it
in position (Fig. 26, step 1).
4. Squeeze the on/off switch (3) to switch the
product on (Fig. 26, step 2). Release the
lock-off button (2) afterwards.
5. Release the on/off switch (3) to switch the
product off.
