Safety Precautions
a)
Check all fasteners, brackets attached to awning after short a distance to ensure they are secure.
b)
Always secure awning with guy ropes & pegs supplied.
c)
Stow away awning during strong winds.
4)
Care Instructions
a)
Regularly inspect all fasteners, brackets attached to awning to ensure they are secure & in good working
condition.
b)
Awning can be stored wet for short period of time but must be allowed to fully dry before storing for
long periods of time to ensure mould/mildew do not form & deteriorate fabric.
c)
Remove debris & sponge any stains with mild soapy water before storing for long period to prevent
staining.
5)
Seasoning Fabric
a)
Seasoning is a term that refers to the soaking of canvas fabric with water so that the tiny holes made by
the needle during the manufacturing process swells & seals up the tiny holes
b)
TJM recommends the awning fabric be soaked through with water & dried to condition the canvas &
seams before use.
c)
After soaking the awning, dry the awning in the sun or in a well-ventilated area.
d)
Repeat the process if necessary
