To focus the eyepiece:
a.
Hold the optical scope at the proper distance from your eye and look through the eye bell against a
flat and clear background such as the sky or a white wall. This should give you a full field of view.
b.
If the reticle is not sharp, loosen the locking screw (1) and rotate the eyepiece a few turns in one
direction. If the focus has not improved, turn in the other direction until the reticle appears in sharp
focus. Tighten the locking screw.
c.
Glance into the scope again to check the sharpness of the reticle. Remember to take quick
glances, as the eye will compensate for slightly out-of-focus conditions with prolonged looking.
7.1.2 Operation
There are 2 methods for operating the alignment tool. As the light beam of approach fixtures is much wider
than the requirements, both methods will give satisfactory results.
7.1.2.1 Operation - Method 1
1.
Loosen the 3 screws of the adjustment plate on the underside of the light fixture using a 5 mm Allen
key.
2.
Aim the vertical center line of the telescope reticle at the center of the next fixture in the row.
