MANEUVER LIMITS
This airplane is certified as a Light Sport Aircraft and is not approved for aerobatic flight,
including spins.
All aerobatic maneuvers, including spins, are prohibited.
An
aerobatic maneuver, as defined by FAA 14 CFR 91.303, is an intentional maneuver
involving an abrupt change in an aircraft’s attitude, an abnormal attitude, or abnormal
acceleration, not necessary for normal flight.
FLIGHT LOAD FACTOR LIMITS
Flight Load Factors:
Flaps Up: +4g, - 2g
Flaps Down +4g, - 2g
FLIGHT LIMITATIONS:
The Sting is certified only for VFR/VMC or IFR/VMC flight conditions. Limited IFR IMC
operation may be approved by the OEM manufacturer on an airframe-by-airframe basis
with appropriate limitations, restrictions and documentation.
Do not operate this aircraft in IMC conditions! Operation under IMC
conditions is considered an emergency and is strictly prohibited.
Additional flight attitude and maneuver limitations are specified by the
engine manufacturer to assure appropriate flow of fuel, coolant, and
lubrication. See the Rotax manuals included as a CD with the aircraft
documents.
IFR Flight Operations do not require IMC flight conditions.
IFR
operation in VFR conditions is acceptable within the aircraft specific FAA
airworthiness limitations.
