Safety
This instruction manual contains basic instructions which must be observed when operating the
TLS

Combibo-
xes
. Follow the instructions exactly in order to prevent faults. You should therefore read this instruction manual
immediately before working with
TLS
®
Combiboxes
. The safety information contained in these instructions, non-
compliance with which may lead to danger for persons, is indicated in accordance with DIN 4844-W8 and with the
word Danger.
Risk of death!
Electric shocks from the power supplies may result in death or significant damage to
health. Never open the enclosures for
TLS
®
Combiboxes
! All warranty claims immediately become
void if the enclosure is opened!
Warning!
This product generates a laser beam. The execution of operations other than those set out
here may lead to hazardous radiation. Do not expose yourself to the beam under any circumstances.
Danger!
Plug connections and cables can be damaged. Do not use force when connecting plugs and
sockets. Take care to ensure, when using the product, that the cables connected are not damaged.
Attention!
Intended for indoor use. The device should not be exposed to dripping water or spray,
and no objects filled with liquid should be placed on the device.

The device must be connected to a plug socket with a protective earth connection.
Warning!
For reasons of safety and approval (CE), unauthorised reconstruction or modification of the
product is not permitted.
Caution!
Observe the operating instructions for the devices which you are connecting to the product.

Use only technically sound cables which are suitable for this purpose for connecting to the
device.

For safety reasons, disconnect the product from the mains during a storm.
