HYDRAULIC BRAKE FLUID LEVEL - Front Brake
1. Check the fluid level by looking at the reservoir. The fluid level must be between the two
lines. If it is below the lower line, check the brake line and cylinder for a possible leak.
2. Check the brakes for excessive wear. The middle groove of the brake should still be
visible. If it isn’t, the pads should be replaced.
3. To replace the brake fluid, open the reservoir and add fluid as required. (See Fig. 5)
CAUTION

Be sure not to introduce any water or air into the brake system when changing
the fluid.
•
Do not spill any brake fluid on any other motorcycle parts as the fluid can
damage metal and paint.
