2.4.1
Connecting the power supply and signal lines
Supply voltage
The supply voltage can be connected redundantly. Both inputs are uncou-
pled. There is no distributed load. With redundant supply, the power
supply unit with the higher output voltage supplies the device on its own.
The supply voltage is electrically isolated from the housing.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never insert pointed objects (narrow screwdrivers, wires, etc.) into the
device or into the connection terminals for electric conductors. Do not touch
the connection terminals.
Start connecting the electrical wires only if
all
the above safety require-
ments are fulfilled.
