5.9 Various checks
This section explains about check functions for sensors.
■
Insulation check
This is a function to check insulation resistance between the sensor connected to the input
terminal and the test specimen. To enable this check, the input terminal E of the TC-32K
must be connected to the test specimen with a ground wire or an equivalent.
■
Resistance check
This is a function to check the resistance of strain gauge or an equivalent, which is
connected between the input terminal A and B of the TC-32K.
1. Move the cursor (reversed indication) with
[▲][▼]
keys on the Menu screen and press
[ENT]
key, or press

of ten keys, to go to
“Various checks”.
2. Move the cursor (reversed indication) to
“Insulation check” with
[▲][▼]
keys and

3. Insulation check starts, and the result is
displayed on the screen. If the result is
500MΩ or more, “*” is displayed.
