Comet setting
When the quarter bridge 3-wire method is used for measuring strain, this setting allows
compensation of unnecessary factor error caused by lead wire and strain error caused when
the input value is large. This function is called “Comet”. Refer to “10.3: Complete
Compensation Method of Strain (Comet)” for more detail about Comet.

Power source frequency of measurement environment
Set a commercial power source frequency of the region where you are using the TC-32K.
This setting may prevent variation or shift when the measurement value is unstable.
1. Move the cursor (reversed indication)
with
[▲][▼]
keys on the “Setting
concerning measurement” screen and
press
[ENT]
key, or press
[2]
of ten
keys, to go to “Comet”.
2. Move the cursor either to
“Non”, ”CometA” or “CometB” with
[
◄][►]
keys, and press [
ENT]
key.
When the sensor mode is quarter bridge 3-wire method, a value compensated
by the non-linear correction is displayed even if you select [Non]. By
selecting Comet, you can acquire more accurate strain value.
