12 Safety and usage
instructions
Warning:
The screen of your tolino eReader can be damaged and broken in the
event of a fall or by strong external pressure. For this reason, make sure that
your tolino eReader is always well protected, e.g. by a protective cover, especially
during transport.
Warning:
Do not use or charge your tolino eReader if the battery is damaged or leak-
ing.
Warning:
Do not cover the tolino eReader during operation or charging. This may
cause overheating.
Warning:
Switch off the tolino eReader immediately if it gets wet. Have the device
checked for operational safety before using it again.
Never expose the tolino eReader to moisture, condensation or wetness. If it acciden-
tally comes into contact with other liquids, simply rinse it with tap water and let it dry
for 48 hours.
Warning:
Your safety is important to us! Safety always has priority in road traffic. Pro-
tect yourself and other road users by operating the eReader only if the traffic situation
permits and you do not endanger or obstruct other persons. The laws in force in your
region apply.
Technical work on the tolino eReader may only be carried out by suitably qualified
personnel. It is prohibited to open or modify the eReader at any time. The compo-
nents cannot be serviced by the user.
Do not place the tolino eReader near a source of heat and protect it from direct sun-
light.
Protect the tolino eReader from extremely high and low temperatures and from tem-
perature fluctuations.
Operate it only at an ambient temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
