• Regularly check the power cord for damage.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord is
damaged. Have a damaged power cord replaced
by a qualified service centre.
• Never use an appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or an appliance that is defective, has
fallen, or has been damaged in any way. Return
the appliance to the manufacturer or the nearest
qualified service centre for inspection, repairs or
electrical or mechanical modifications.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket by
pulling on the plug, not the power cord.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and
steam.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket
before you move the appliance.
• Do not use an external time switch or separate
remote control system to switch this appliance on or
off.
• When you need to use an extension lead then use a
10 amp extension lead. Extension leads with a lower
power rating may overheat. Lay out the extension
lead where it will not accidentally be pulled and
does not cause trip hazards.
• Avoid overloading caused by connecting too many
appliances to one circuit (group).
• To avoid overloading, do not use any other
appliances with high power ratings in the same
circuit (group) at the same time.
• Never immerse the appliance, its plug or housing in
water or other liquids, as this could cause an electric
shock.
• Do not touch the appliance if it has fallen into
water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the
appliance and do not use it again.
• Do not use the appliance close to sources of heat,
such as a stove or oven.
Using the appliance
• This appliance is intended for domestic and
comparable use, such as use:
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other
working environments;
- on farms;
- by hotel or motel guests or guests in other
residential settings;
- in bed and breakfasts or similar environments.
• The use of accessories not recommended by
the manufacturer of the appliance may result in
personal injury.
• Only use this appliance indoors, in dry areas away
from water.
• Never immerse the appliance or the plug in water
or any other liquid. This may result in a fatal electric
shock!
• Do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet
surfaces, as this could cause an electric shock.
• Place the appliance on a stable, level surface from
which it cannot fall onto the floor.
