Label and remove the wire harness on the
front of the engine. This should include the
alternator wiring, the oil pressure and
temperature sensor wires. Route out of the
way.

Under the hood, locate the throttle cable and
loosen the throttle cable pinch bolt (13mm
hex head and nut). Cut the wire ties and
straighten out the cable for removal of cable
through the sleeve.

Remove the throttle cable by pulling it from
the throttle lever at the engine.

Attach appropriate winching mechanism to
the lifting hooks on the engine. With
sufficient tension to support the weight of the
engine on the winching mechanism, remove
the four 17mm bolts that secure the engine
to the engine tray. After verifying that all
lines, wires, and hoses are clear you may
now carefully remove the engine.
