Final Drive - removal
Raise the rear of the vehicle and secure on jack
stands. Place wheel chocks in front of and behind
the front wheels.

stands. Place wheel chocks in front of and behind
the front wheels.

Remove the rear wheel.

Remove the rear wheel.
2.
Disconnect the brake caliper.
3.
Disconnect the brake hose (1) from the final
drive case.
4.
Disconnect the shock absorber (2) from the
final drive case.
5.
Secure the brake caliper, hoses and shock out
of the way.
6.
Remove the cam wheel by loosening the 2
Allen set screws (1).
7.
Remove grease nipple (2).
8.
Remove final drive nut (3) using the special
Tomcar wrench TM50190.
