Pairing TomTom Remote LINK

Pairing TomTom Remote LINK

You need to pair your TomTom Remote LINK with a TomTom LINK 300/310

before you first use the device. This is required because the Remote LINK

transmits your input to the LINK 300/310 without saving the information.

There are two ways to pair your Remote LINK with the LINK 300/310 which are

described in this document. TomTom WORK certified sales partners can also

use the activation tool, visit

www.tomtomwork.com/activationtool

Important

: A Remote LINK can only be paired with one LINK 300/310. If your

Remote LINK or the LINK 300/310 has already been paired with another

device, both devices need to be reset before pairing with a new device.

Instructions on how to reset both devices are described in this document.

Pairing Remote LINK to LINK 300/310

You can pair the Remote LINK with a LINK 300/310 by only using the two

devices.
1. Make sure the LINK 300/310 is properly installed in the vehicle.
2. Switch on the ignition.
3. Make sure there are no other vehicles installed with a LINK 300/310 located

within a distance of 30 metres.

4. Press any button on your Remote LINK to switch it on.

If the LEDs on all three buttons are flashing, then the device is not paired

and you need to continue with the next step. Otherwise reset your Remote

LINK.

5. Press any two buttons at the same time until you hear a sound.

Remote LINK starts searching for your LINK 300/310 and the blue

Connection LED begins to flash rapidly. Searching may take about one

minute before a connection is established.

Note:

To check if a connection has been established press any key.
