fine dust mask.

Operation
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when
drilling holes.
a) Attaching and clamping the tool
Watch your step to avoid injuring your head or teeth.
• Select a suitable hole saw for the size of the hole that you want to drill.
• Select the correct attachment holder for your chosen diameter. For the Ø 22 and 29 mm
hole saws, choose the 6.35 mm attachment holder. All other hole saws require the 11.1 mm
attachment holder.
• Mount the hole saw onto the attachment holder. When using the 6.35 mm attachment holder,
screw on the appropriate hole saw in a clockwise direction to secure it in place
If you replace the drill bit, always use right-hand cutting drill bits.
• Hole saws for the 11.1 mm attachment holder have two or four locking bores that are arranged
radially. Screw the desired hole saw clockwise onto the thread of the attachment holder.
• Align the hole saw with the locking bolts on the two attachment holders and ensure that they
sit directly on the two locking bores. Screw the hole saw onto the thread on the attachment
holder, but not as far as it will go.
• Turn the knurled nut clockwise so that the locking bolts penetrate the locking bores are far
as possible.
•
Ensure that the centring drill is fixed to the attachment holder. Use the hex key to screw the
hexagon socket head screw onto the drill mount.
• Clamp the shaft on the attachment holder into the attachment/chuck of a suitable drill.
b) Changing/dismantling the tool
• Repeat the above steps in the reverse order to change or remove a hole saw.
• Loosen the locking device by unscrewing the knurled screw in an anticlockwise direction.
• Screw a hole saw anticlockwise from the thread of the attachment holder.
• Remove the attachment holder from the drill.
• Clear any shavings and dust from used hole saws.
• Place them in the storage box with the teeth facing downwards.
